Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of materials and services.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and pricing.
- Conduct market analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company standards.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 A Levels or HNC, or CIPS Diploma (or equivalent).
- 3+ years’ experience in purchasing within manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- IT proficiency and understanding of production processes.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
- CIPS membership.
