Infrastructure IT Network Manager based in Wiltshire. Offering a permanent career opportunity for a qualified and experienced IT leader who can demonstrate at least 3-5 years working in a similar role. This is a permanent, salaried full-time, office-based role, working Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for the line management of a small team of IT Help Desk Technicians, ensuring that the IT infrastructure and networking meet the demands of this multi-location site. Working as part of the wider team to ensure that end users receive exemplary levels of customer service, working to mandated KPI’s and SLA’s. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will work towards achieving enhanced service levels for all software, hardware, and systems improvement, ensuring that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
Infrastructure IT Network Manager, you will work closely with other key stakeholders, very much in a collaborative style, creating a strategic plan for the business, planning staff and expenditure for systems enhancement. Responsible for the management and maintenance of servers, applying updates whilst maintaining network security and integrity. Developing and retaining business supplier relationships is also a key requirement, working closely to ascertain prices and stock levels, ensuring that products purchased meet the expectations of the wider business.
Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with a higher level of education in IT, Computer Science or similar, having attained ITIL Certification, a Qualification in Windows Exchange and being able to work confidently in and around IT operating systems both software and hardware-based. Ensuring that the business software licensing status is correct and up to date, delivering training and coaching to IT Technicians and Administrative staff on all systems and new software, plus the management and maintenance of onsite security systems, access control points and overall site IT-related safety and privacy.
