Machine Operator - Evaporator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team on a Temp - Perm basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the process of evaporating milk and dairy products. This role requires a strong understanding of the dairy or food industry. The successful applicant will contribute to the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
- Process milk and dairy products as specified
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document production activities accurately for quality control purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a food production environment.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in manufacturing settings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
Working 4 days out of 6, one week early one week lates
Earliest start 0600, Latest finish 0400
Paid weekly, fantastic career opportunities with great earning potential
Pay: £17.35-£21.53 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
