Maintenance Manager required for the hospitality sector, working on a full time, permanent basis this position is based in Kent and offers an excellent salary of £40,000 plus annual bonus, enhanced pension scheme and unrivalled employee benefits package.
Ideally suited to a qualified trades professional with The NVQ Level 2 plumbing and/or NVQ Level 3 Award in Electrical Installations, able to evidence 3-5 years relevant skills and experience gained in a commercial environment. Your key responsibilities will include the ongoing management and maintenance of all operations, ensuring the smooth running of this facility to the highest of standards.
As Maintenance Manager you will have proven hands-on knowledge of all site and facility plant operations, boilers, air conditioning systems and heating, ensuring that the plumbing and electrics remain operating in a safe consistent working order. With an emphasis on conducting planned preventative maintenance, you will work with daily, weekly and monthly schedules, checking and solving any issues that arise.
Responsible for carrying our routine inspections and systems checks, providing consistent internal communication updates to the Operations Director and staff, liaising with engineers to assist with remedial breakdowns and repairs. Having to arrange and work with sub-contractors where necessary, obtain quotes and pricing, reviewing contractor terms and service level agreements, communicating with all relevant departments to keep abreast of all activities and service works.
There is a need to check fire alarms systems water sprinklers, exits and fire doors, security pass systems and all access points. You will have a strong awareness of Gas safety regulations, fire and evacuation procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH with a previous employment history gained in Hotels and Hospitality.
As Maintenance Manager you will possess excellent levels of communication to include verbal and written, with the ability to produce reports and information across the wider business.
