Job Title: Manufacturing and Tooling Operations Team Leader
Location: Southeast
As a leading manufacturer of engineered parts, this client is seeking a new Manufacturing Team Leader to join a successful team based in the Southeast. Ideally seeking a candidate who can evidence 3-5 years of previous, relevant CNC and Tooling manufacturing experience, someone who can lead, train, and motivate a team of production and CNC tooling operatives within a high precision industry. Working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday hours of work permanent days, supported by an attractive salary of £40,000 plus a range of impressive employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of CNC/Tooling manufacturing operators to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Ensure that products are manufactured to customer specification, using a range of CNC Tools (Lathes, Jigs, Mills)
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance within CNC Operation
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Team Leader or similar role in a manufacturing environment, with 3-5 years of previous CNC machining/setting experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using CNC Tooling operations
