Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their team, based in Wiltshire, this permanent role as a Registered Children’s Home Manager offers a salary between £40 - £46k depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package which includes life insurance, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and potential bonuses when targets are met.
Outline of responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional leadership and management to ensure the smooth running of the children's home and high-quality care.
- Make critical decisions and drive positive outcomes for the children under your care.
- Ensure the home complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and plan services in line with the organisation's strategic direction.
- Support and guide staff to ensure their continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or preparedness to work towards the same.
- Three years of experience working with children in the last five years and at least one year at the senior level.
- Supervision or management experience.
- Background in Ofsted regulations and compliance, having achieved a rating of good or above.
- This position requires an enhanced DBS check
We offer:
- 37.5 - 9 am till 5 pm. Generally, office hours; however, the service is 24/7/365 and there may be times when the manager is expected to work outside of office hours.
