Position: Sales Customer Account Manager
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Hours: Mon – Thur 8:30am – 5pm and Friday 8:30am – 3pm
Salary: £30,000
We are pleased to announce a permanent career opportunity for an experienced Sales Customer Accounts Manager who possesses a proven track record in maintaining key accounts while identifying and developing new business prospects. This position is with a global manufacturer of automotive products and parts, and the successful candidate will report to the Sales Management team, contributing to both new and sustained growth within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with existing customer accounts.
- Establish and foster new customer relationships.
- Manage customer accounts, including reviewing and creating quotes for new customers.
- Handle contracts by establishing, reviewing, amending, and resolving any related queries and discrepancies.
- Enhance the customer service experience for clients.
- Comprehend current business levels and product supply to ensure a high standard of customer service.
- Communicate effectively via telephone and email.
Key Experience:
- The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in English and one additional European language (Desirable).
- Prior experience with manufacturing software systems, such as SAP, MRPeasy, or Odoo, is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
- A clear understanding of the customer journey from initial contact through cost and product availability, manufacturing requirements, supply chain delivery, and final product dispatch is essential.
- Demonstrable experience with contract preparation and delivery, accompanied by a solid understanding of commercial service level agreements and written contracts, is required.
- An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential.
