Job Description: This client seeks a professional, articulate, and experienced Senior IT Sales Account Executive to join their team in The Southwest. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a business development position, managing customer IT hardware services through to final solution delivery. You will be accustomed to working in a sales-targeted environment, engaging with new and existing customers to retain and increase financial revenue .
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the current customer base for increased revenue opportunities, upselling of new products, and existing current contractual agreements
- Meeting with customers to manage and develop relationships
- Overseeing the delivery of IT hardware services from initial concept through to final delivery of product
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities using telephone business development skills, physical and virtual customer meetings
- Mapping of sales plans and targets, identifying new business streams plus the execution of effective business development strategies
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets, including the effective management of time and resource
- Confirmation of customer quotes, delivering equipment and product demonstrations, and final pricing
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer product delivery
Requirements:
- Ideally educated to Degree Level in Computing/Computer Science
- Extensive knowledge of IT Hardware services (central processing units, random access memory, motherboards, computer data storage, graphics cards, sound cards, and computer cases, including monitors, mouse, keyboard, and speakers)
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT business development role selling to Small to Medium Businesses
- Proven track record in managing/delivering IT hardware services
- Strong knowledge of IT solutions and services
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident when attending customer meetings and presentations
- Willing to visit customers daily (UK Wide)
- Ability to work from a Swindon based location for the first 2 months to gain product knowledge
- Clean Full UK Driving Licence for customer visits
