As a Test Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production test equipment for functional testing and leading new product introductions (NPI). You’ll apply and develop your electronics hardware expertise while contributing to innovative, high-value projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining automated and manual test procedures for electronic equipment and assemblies
- Designing and commissioning test fixtures, hardware, and software for in-circuit, functional, and system-level testing
- Collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure product testability and manufacturability
- Analysing test data, identifying failure trends, and driving corrective actions to improve product quality
- Supporting new product introductions by creating and validating test solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Providing technical support and training to production test technicians and engineers
- Maintaining documentation for test procedures, equipment, and results

What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience developing test solutions for electronic assemblies (ideally within contract manufacturing)
- Proficiency in test software development (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C/C++)
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB design, and fault‑finding
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other test equipment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Experience
- Automated test equipment (ATE) and fixture design
- Familiarity with IPC standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.)
- Knowledge of EMC, safety, and regulatory compliance testing
- Experience in high‑mix, low‑volume or subcontract manufacturing environments
